We are looking for a new colleague to join our client in the wind industry. You will join a team responsible for building and maintaining internal products used to forecast, review and manage demands for offshore wind Operations & Maintenances. The users are spread across the organization in commercial, technical and execution responsible teams located in Greater Copenhagen area and in operating sites. The team consists of 4 developers, 1 QA and 1 UX co-located in Denmark, Malaysia and Poland. The Scrum Master is located in Malaysia and the Product Owner in Denmark.

 

Location: Greater Copenhagen, hybrid.



QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

  • Requirements:• 7-10 years of experience with design development & deployment in Microsoft .Net Core (6 and above), C#, Visual Studio Team Services
  • Proficient in deploying on Azure cloud technologies and Kubernetes clusters
  • User centric and self-driven – and feeling comfortable in discussions with Product Owner and users
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to weigh trade-offs and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum environment
  • Strong English skills - both oral and written
  • Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Deliver quality increments by collaborating with the other 3 developers in the team, the Product Owner, Quality Agent, User Experience Designer and the users.
  • Understand the link between business needs and technical implementation.
  • Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demos, Retrospectives and Backlog refinements.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews for peers, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
  • Identify bottlenecks and optimize the performance of backend systems, ensuring they are fast, reliable, and responsive.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, implementing solutions to maintain optimal operation.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the codebase and advocate for improvements to the functionality of the product, refactoring or other technical debt management.
