We are looking for a Project Management Office (PMO) consultant to join the NIS2 Compliance Program with our client in the renewable energy industry.

 

The European Union's new Directive on Network and Information Security, known as "NIS2," was officially approved by the EU Council on November 28th, 2022, and subsequently endorsed by the European Parliament on December 14th, 2022. This directive aims to establish a comprehensive framework of standardized requirements and enhancements for managing cybersecurity risks, reporting incidents, managing supply chain risks, and fostering collaboration, particularly in critical sectors like energy, transportation, healthcare, and digital infrastructure. Our client will be subject to the increased compliance requirements with NIS2 by a specific deadline.

Location: Greater Copenhagen, onsite min. 2 days a week.


QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

  • Experience with project planning, coordination and reporting
  • Experience in reporting progress across multiple workstreams in a cross organizational program
  • Experience in consolidated program budget administration and reporting
  • Experience with creating presentation material to top-level management
  • Proven track record of creating and delivering presentations to C-suite executives and top-level management
  • Ability to distill complex project information into clear, concise, and impactful presentations
  • Program structure that supports multiple delivery models
  • Compliance expertise: A demonstrated history of effectively designing, implementing, and overseeing compliance implementations, including experience with certifications related to ISO standards, information security compliance, or similar
  • Resource management experience
  • Risk Management experience
  • Sector expertise: Familiarity with the energy sector and an understanding of their unique cybersecurity challenges preferred
  • NIS2 experience: A demonstrated history of effectively designing, implementing, and overseeing NIS2 compliance implementations, preferred
  • Cybersecurity expertise: Proven track record of in-depth knowledge and experience in cybersecurity, including a good understanding of NIS2 compliance requirements, preferred
  • Relevant certifications: Relevant certifications in cyber security and compliance, such as CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), preferred
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in relevant technical skills such as network security, basic cybersecurity measures and incident response, preferred
  • The ability to adapt to changing regulatory landscapes and evolving cybersecurity threats
  • Strong leadership skills to lead and guide stakeholders, senior management, executive team and impacted teams through NIS2 compliance process.
  • Strong English skills, both oral and written
  • Valid EU work permit making you able to start working right away

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Support the development and maintenance of comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Coordinate activities across different workstreams and organizational departments, to ensure alignment with compliance objectives
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders across various business areas
  • Design a robust framework that supports program delivery in various workstreams
  • Ensure the structure is adaptable to different program requirements and delivery models
  • Provide overview of current resource allocation and estimation of future resource constraints
  • Monitor resource utilization and suggest adjustments as needed to maintain project efficiency
  • Identify potential risks to the compliance project and develop mitigation strategies
  • Continuously monitor, assess, and flag risks, updating plans as necessary to address emerging issues
