OPERATIONAL PROGRAM MANAGER
We are looking for an Operational Program Manager for our client's GPC PIONEER Program. You will be the strategic leader and a cornerstone of the GPC PIONEER Program, driving the delivery organization and the program itself to new heights of success through a balanced combination of technical acumen, project management expertise, and Agile leadership.
Location: Mostly remote, but with some visits to HQ, in Middle Jutland
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Able to provide responsive approach to change management, effective communication with stakeholders, and proactive risk mitigation
- Strong experience with Agile Project Management - you are not only a practitioner but an advocate of Agile principles
- Strong experience with Planning
- Strong experience with SAFe 6.0
- Strong English skills - both written and orally
- Relevant educational background
- Experience as a Product Manager
- Experience with the mentioned tasks
- Profound understanding of the latest IT technologies and processes and able to apply this knowledge to optimize and integrate IT operations in support of overarching business strategies
- Able to be make informed, strategic decisions that perfectly align with both the technical needs and the business objectives of the organization
- Capable of leading teams and the entire program in a manner that is flexible, responsive, and conducive to rapid adaptation and continuous improvement
- Able to handle the intricacies involved in transforming IT systems and processes, managing a portfolio of interdependent projects
- Able to travel to sites
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Strategically aligning the program with organizational goals and maintaining oversight of program objectives
- Coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring integration of efforts to maximize program efficiency and effectiveness
- Developing and maintaining high-level program plans, including milestones, resources, and budgets
- Leading the Program Increment (PI) Planning events and ensuring follow-through on program commitments
- Identifying and resolving systemic impediments that affect program performance
- Ensuring consistent program-level reporting and communication to stakeholders
- Managing program risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the program
- Overseeing vendor and stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations throughout program execution
- Responsible for providing strategic leadership, integration of various streams, and overseeing the overall program delivery. This role involves high-level planning, stakeholder management, and the orchestration of multiple project teams working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe 6.0) or equivalent methodologies
