We are looking for a new colleague to join an exciting project with our client.
As a Packaging Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing packaging solutions of our clients products, from gathering requirements to ensuring that the solution works for the entire supply chain. You will join a global Packaging Development Team within our clients Research & Development unit.
Location: Mid Jutland, onsite.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’ or Master’ degree preferred in Packaging or Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant experience with packaging design
- Experience and knowledge of packaging manufacturing technologies
- Material knowledge. Mandatory: corrugated paper, honeycomb, plastic. Optional: Wood
- Ability to work independently on projects. A good flair or desire for working with project management is a plus
- Tools experience. Mandatory: ArtiosCAD. Optional: SAP, 3D CAD, Catia
- Ability to work together with suppliers and colleagues in any functions of the organization
- Structured and conscientious – ensuring high quality and timely deliverables
- Experience or desire to work with graphic design would be beneficial
- English at professional level
- Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Help gathering packaging requirements for development and maintenance tasks
- Design packaging solutions for Grundfos products, mainly box-products
- Support the transfer of the packaging design to the full value chain, e.g. production
- Ensure the packaging solution is tested
- Work closely and support senior and lead specialists within professional area
- Provide substance and content within own professional area
- Ensure knowledge-sharing
- Deliver to product development projects
