We are looking for a new colleague to join a compliance project with our client in the Financial Sector. You will work in a Nordic based project in the bank and some travelling must be considered.

 

Location: Greater Copenhagen, hybrid.



QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

  • Working experience within the areas of payment, financial crime and/or transaction monitoring systems (AML).
  • Proven knowledge of at least two of the following: Python, SQL, DAX, Excel/VBA, R, Scala, C#, Tableau or any other programming language and/or visualisation tools used for data analysis
  • Understanding of the technical requirements for building entity resolution solutions
  • Understanding of the financial payment flows and financial transactional data in a bank
  • Understanding of working with risk and compliance cases when conducting analysis
  • Experience Data modelling experience using data modelling tools like Power Designer / CA ERwin / IBM InfoSphere Data Architect / Python / SQL
  • Experience Implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models in collaboration with data stewards
  • Ability to analyse data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions
  • Understand and translate business needs into technical long-term solutions
  • Expertise in capturing and documenting business requirements and converting these into the foundation for IT design and development
  • Ability to analyse provided data and present the findings / results to PM and business stakeholders
  • Hands-on database design and modelling experience within single and multi-platform environments
  • Backend system validation experience and understanding any dependencies and impacts
  • Experience with Quantexa or similar network analysis tools
  • Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away
  • Excellent oral English skills and ability to drive a technical meeting in English

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Multiple initiatives within a Programme scoped with the enhancement of the Cross-Border Transaction Monitoring capability
  • The consultant will be conducting the full range of data development and analytical activities
  • Working within a Programme Test Team
  • Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and scripts
  • Data modelling using data modelling tools like Power Designer / CA ERwin / IBM InfoSphere Data Architect / Python / SQL
  • Implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models in collaboration with data stewards
