We are looking for a Data Engineer for one of our clients in the Pharma Industry.
Location: Greater Copenhagen. hybrid.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong experience as a Data Engineer
- Able to use IaC and CI/CD to deliver infrastructure components to the AWS environments
- Proficiency in developing ETL pipelines with Apache Spark, Glue and Delta Lake
- SQL knowledge and experience with Data Warehouse concepts
- Experience with AWS services i.e. S3, Lambda functions, Athena
- Hands-on Python Programming experience
- Working experience with Git, Azure pipelines and Infrastructure-as-code i.e. CDK
- Experience from the pharma industry preferred
- Professional level of English - both oral and written
- Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Responsible for the technological facilitation of data access, through developing ETL pipelines and workflow with continuous delivery pipelines in the data product teams
- Improve data availability and validation by acting as a liaison between Data Science and IT teams through data products
- Responsible for data wrangling – data ingestion, integration, and curation from various internal and external sources, with varying degrees of maturity in availability, access requirements, data formats and underlying technologies
- Responsible for identifying and sharing best practice, increasing awareness of data management standards and validation, and creating improvements in methods, techniques, approaches etc., for optimizing the way we work and striving for simplicity
