We are looking for a new colleague to join an exciting project with our client in the wind industry. Do you have experience with FEA, analytic calculations, review of structural analysis of complex mechanical designs under extreme loads and fatigue?
Work location: Middle Jutland, hybrid.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Structural Engineer
- Relevant education within the field of engineering
- Experience with analytic calculations, review of structural analysis of complex mechanical designs under extreme loads and fatigue
- Experience in handling large and complex non-linear FEA models
- Experience in using Static Structural analysis with Ansys
- Good knowledge of working with Ansys apdl
- Knowledge of fracture mechanics is a plus but not a requirement
- Experience in making Calculation reports and present the results as part of a project team
- Experience in design optimisation
- Able to be at office at least three days a week
- Strong English skills - both written and oral
- Valid EU work permit
- Able to start right away
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Analysis and documentation of load calculations
- Identification of potential improvements and development of cost effective and innovative technical solutions
- Design and specification review
- Structural analysis
- Strength verification
